The Secret Garden

The Secret Garden Centre is more than just a garden centre. It is a place of learning as we provide talks, courses and workshops for example on Saturday 20th March 2010 10-2.00pm we are having a Growing Your Own- Vegetables Workshop. This is being led by Sinead from Dromcollogher Organic College and is a paid event however between 3.00-4.00pm on the same day Sinead will be offering a free question and answer session on growing organically.
We also provide tailor made classes to groups such as schools or community groups, allowing them to take advantage of the therapeutic effect of gardening.We are currently running a closed group to people who experience mental health difficulties.
We are hoping that our strive to be a greener garden centre will be recognised in the Green Awards on the 11/03/10 where we have been shortlisted as finalists in two categories.
The Secret Garden Centre is certainly worth discovering.
