Festina Lente Community Garden

Hi Everyone 
I went up to our wonderful garden last Sunday morning, a great sunny day. It looks fabulous!
Everything is growing well.... I have attached some photos. Really impressed with the herb garden that one of our members created! 
We did some weeding in each of the beds, sowed new seeds - lettuce, radishes in the beds (to replace what we dug up)  and the polytunnels as well as some flowers.  We dug up some of the radishes, lettuce and spring onions as they were ready to eat.  A lady who has one of the allotments gave us some carrots so had a lovely salad!
 
We also thoroughly watered everything in the beds and the polytunnel so should last for the week (though it's supposed to rain tomorrow).
 
We are looking at having a BBQ, mid to end of July. Everyone could bring up a throwaway BBQ, whatever we want to cook and have some of the veg that is ready by then as well as a few glasses of wine! Sublime.....
